A new year and a new age of Stallion fishing has arrived. The Stallion Brain Trust has unfurled a new and exciting format for 2011! Our goal is to encourage fellowship and cooperation amongst Stallion squads. Thus, this year’s event will combine our traditional one boat teams into “Clans”. These “Clans” will be formed, by random draw, into 5 or 6 team “Clans”. These “Clans” will then compete against rival “Clans” for the “Clan” title and all the “Clams -$$$”! Individual teams will still compete for the Stallion trophy, but no dinero.
Want to hear more about the “Clans”? Of course you do!!! All entries and $$$ will need to be submitted two weeks prior to the event. (Friday – April 29th!) All entrants will be thrown in and drawn into “Clans” (traditional top teams will be seeded and distributed evenly). You will be notified of your fellow “Clan” mates prior to the event so that you can
#1: Form a “Clan name” (feel free to develop clan t-shirt or hat)
#2: Share strategies and information for fishing
#3: Exchange phone, email, etc. – communication during tourney is encouraged. (Let your clan mates know where the fish are biting).
Remember, the cumulative score of your “Clan” is what matters! Your “Clan” needs good results from top to bottom, and if any of your “Clan” mates don’t weigh in, it could be devastating! A couple panfish could mean the difference between a massive payday and a bucket o’ tears! So, gather all your “Clan” fans, make a plan, and have a “Clan”tastic good time! The 34th annual Stallion “Clash of the Clans” has arrived!!!
